Pass It On
As Peter wrote, Sammi is "Wise Beyond Her Years..."
A Memo to the Parents
To save time, the first two paragraphs sum it up pretty well:
When most kids make a blog, they make it for their friends to read, so their friends know about how they’re doing. Not for you. Some kids even make them just for themselves to read, hoping no one they know ever finds it (I’ve learned this the hard way) because they just need a place to vent. Either way, kids make their blogs in hopes their parents will never, ever read them. If there were a way for us to block our parents from reading these, by God we would.
I raped this of Sammi without her permission, if wanted, it will be removed.
A Memo to the Parents
To save time, the first two paragraphs sum it up pretty well:
So you think you’re helping your son and/or daughter by getting on the internet, reading their blog, then reading all their friends’ blogs. No. You think you’re helping by later asking them what’s going on in theirs and their friends’ lives based on what you’ve read. No. You feel you don’t know your son and/or daughter like you used to, and you think reading their blog will help you catch up. No. You think you’re doing the right thing. No.
